Dr. Ariel Majjhoo is dually board certified in Pain Medicine and Neurology. He received his medical degree from Wayne State University. He then completed a 2-year internship in Internal Medicine before entering a highly ranked Neurology residency program at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center. Thereafter, he entered a competitive fellowship at Wayne State’s ACGME-accredited training program in the subspecialty of Interventional Pain Management. Dr. Majjhoo was the first Neurologist to enter and complete the Anesthesia departmental program, is actively involved in academic teaching across the state and is one of a few Neurologists in Michigan board certified in the field of Pain Medicine.
Dr. Majjhoo’s areas of expertise include the evaluation and treatment of back and neck pain, headaches/migraines, musculoskeletal and arthritis disorders, cancer pain, neuromodulation and acute pain management. He is specialized and highly trained in a variety of pain management procedures including but not limited to ultrasound guided joint injections, fluoroscopic-guided spinal injections, such as epidurals and rhizotomies, spinal cord stimulators, intrathecal pain pumps and minimally invasive lumbar surgeries such as microdiscectomies, indirect decompression and sacroiliac fusion. With a comprehensive treatment approach, Dr. Majjhoo believes he can provide the best care for his patients on an individual basis.

With over 10 years of experience, Dr. Majjhoo provides expert pain management care and treatment in a truly multidisciplinary fashion that affords his patients the benefits of comprehensive care.
Dr. Majjhoo is a part of several teaching faculties. He is an Assistant Professor within the department of Neurology at Wayne State University. He is clinical faculty for the Detroit Medical Center Pain Medicine fellowship program. He also sits as the site director for Pain Medicine for Promedica Monroe Hospital and carries staff privileges for Corewell Health System. Dr. Majjhoo is active member of the American Academy of Neurology and the North American Neuromodulation Society.

Dr. Bryant Ittiara utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to treating chronic and acute pain due to a variety of conditions. He is dually trained in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. After completing a Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Michigan he went on to receive his medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic medicine. He then completed his Anesthesiology residency at Michigan State University/Detroit Medical Center and then went on to fellowship training at the ACGME accredited Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center Interventional Pain Management program.
Dr. Ittiara has a unique perspective and approach to pain management. With a background in Biomedical engineering and biomechanics combined with a medical education and extensive specialty training, it allows him to have further insight into the biomechanics of the spine and musculoskeletal system and how injuries or disease processes can affect function. This allows him to better personalize treatment to each specific patient and their goals. He focuses strongly on patient education and takes the time to ensure that each patient fully understands their condition as well as all aspects of a treatment plan and what to expect from any possible interventional procedures.
Dr. Ittiara is highly experienced in evaluation and treatment of back and neck pain, CRPS, headaches/migraines, diabetic neuropathy, musculoskeletal and arthritis disorders, cancer pain, neuromodulation and acute pain management.
He is an expert in fluoroscopic and ultrasound guided interventional procedures including spinal injections, epidural steroid injections, diagnostic nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, peripheral nerve blocks, sympathetic nerve blocks, joint injections, spinal cord stimulation and implants, intrathecal pain pumps and pump management, as well as various types of minimally invasive outpatient surgery.
He actively remains at the forefront of new and emerging treatments and technology in order to offer patients the best possible treatment options. In addition, he utilizes regenerative medicine treatments such as PRP or Stem Cell injections for various conditions.
Dr. Ittiara has chosen to practice in the Michigan area due to strong family values and the desire to contribute and help in the community where he grew up. He is involved in academic teaching programs and is on staff with Promedica Health Systems and is an active member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the North American Neuromodulation Society, the American Osteopathic Association, and the American Medical Association.
